BAPE has joined forces with Colm Dillane’s KidSuper on a project called “A SUPER APE”. This partnership sees classic BAPE designs being reimagined through the creative perspective of Dillane, resulting in a fusion of streetwear and modern art.
BAPE collaborated with KidSuper (Colm Dillane) to create “A SUPER APE” collection. They took popular BAPE patterns and made them look fresh using Colm’s artistic ideas, mixing fashion from the streets with contemporary art.
Through membership in the elite BAPE COLLECTIVE collaboration group, KidSuper has been given exclusive access to BAPE’s extensive archive. Using this unique opportunity, Dillane has fashioned a collection that reflects both his and BAPE’s belief in unbounded creativity. This assortment encompasses various categories such as outerwear, tops, bottoms, hats, accessories, redesigned BAPE STA sneakers, and clogs.
Stepping onto the runway for the very first time at KidSuper’s Paris Fashion Week on January 25th was me, A SUPER APE, marking BAPE’s inaugural appearance at this esteemed event. The show, titled “From a Place I Have Never Been,” is a joint effort with artist Daniel Wurtzel, infusing the display with captivating performance art elements.
In spring of 2025, the launch of this collection is planned; specifics about pricing and availability have not been disclosed as of now.
