To get ready for Summer, Japanese label BEAMS has collaborated with Salomon on a unique color scheme for their versatile summer sneaker, the XA PRO 3D AMPHIB. Capable of handling everything from dry city sidewalks to wet outdoor landscapes, this breathable shoe combines top-tier functionality and minimalist aesthetics.
The XA PRO 3D AMPHIB shoe is built for hot and humid environments, featuring breathable mesh upper layers reinforced with tough synthetic reinforcements and a shielded toe area. Air vents at the back of the heel allow fresh air in to aid drainage and ventilation. The soles are designed for grip on slippery or rocky terrains while maintaining a sleek and non-bulky appearance. Salomon’s Quicklace system provides a simple yet robust method for easy fastening and removal. For a splash of bold color, the shoe features eye-catching orange accents at the Salomon logo on the side of the heel strap, and at the S insignia above the tongue.
As spring and summer draw near, Salomon is expanding its acclaimed hybrid styles to provide comfortable and versatile footwear options. Their latest release, the Canvas Pack, features the RX MOC 3.0 and RX SLIDE 3.0 in off-white and gingham designs. Separately, the French shoe brand’s collaboration with MM6 Maison Margiela has led to the creation of the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-Mary J. footwear collection.
BEAMS and Salomon are planning to launch their new 3D Amphib XA PRO model on April 29, which will be available at selected BEAMS retail stores and the official brand website.
