As a long-time fan of both Beats and baseball, hearing that Shohei Ohtani is starring in the teaser for the new Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds has me absolutely thrilled! I’ve always appreciated the seamless blend of technology and sports culture that Beats brings to the table, and I can’t wait to see what improvements they’ve made on the Powerbeats Pro.

People who love this brand are aware that the Powerbeats Pro could use an update, considering they debuted in 2019. At first, these earbuds were highly praised due to their Apple H1 chip and snug fit, which is partly attributed to a design specifically tailored for sports, with a component that loops around the user’s ear.

For the first time, Beats has introduced a new version of the Powerbeats Pro, as seen in the video featuring Ohtani. This latest edition features a cream color scheme and seems to have a sleeker design with a smaller, more streamlined band that wraps comfortably around his ear.
The Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 is slated to arrive sometime in 2025.
