Among my favorite characters I’ve created, Susan Cooper holds a special place, yet Rick Ford might be the one I’d carry to my final resting place. Won’t he develop any self-awareness in the next installment? Absolutely not, definitely not. Instead, his lack of self-awareness will only deepen.
Now might be an ideal moment to release the sequel, Spy 2, given Statham’s impressive yearly success with the action flick, The Beekeeper. This film revolves around The Stath as a man with a shrouded past, who embarks on a violent quest for vengeance after his only friend is swindled. The Beekeeper has generated quite a stir, already amassing a dedicated fanbase, and can now be streamed on Prime Video.
