As a seasoned gamer and music enthusiast, I must say that Beyoncé never ceases to amaze me with her creativity and innovative approach to marketing her events. The Netflix glitch parody teaser for her halftime show during the Ravens v. Texans NFL game on Christmas Day is a perfect example of this.
During the NFL special on Netflix, fans noticed an apparent glitch while Beyoncé was performing at her home city, HTX, during the Baltimore Ravens versus Houston Texans game. However, Beyoncé is comforting her fans by letting them know that there’s no need for concern over this technical issue.
Minutes before the major half-time event, the artist who has won the Grammy Award a record 32 times shared a final hint about her upcoming performance. The teaser video cleverly imitated the Netflix glitch that upset viewers during the live Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight. In this clip, the singer is seen playing the banjo on the football field to the rhythm of her popular hit “Texas Hold ‘Em”. Just as she pauses to remove her sunglasses, the Netflix buffering symbol appears on her face, but the laughter of Beyoncé can be heard, and the video continues with her winking at the camera. On social media, Beyoncé posted, “Sending you a wave of big joy and love on this Cowboy Christmas Eve. I’ll see you all tomorrow in my city, HTX.
Sharing festive cheer this holiday season, it’s Cowboy Carter! The much-awaited football extravaganza at halftime, featuring Beyoncé, is also known as a unique Christmas event. Two games, the Kansas City Chiefs versus the Pittsburgh Steelers being one of them, will be streamed live on Netflix. In a sneak peek for her halftime show, Beyoncé teased “A COWBOY CARTER CHRISTMAS” with an illuminated cactus against a snowy backdrop.
