As a former casting director who had the privilege of witnessing Ranveer Singh’s audition for Band Baaja Baaraat back in 2009, I can confidently say that his energy and presence left an indelible mark on me and the room. The moment he walked into our Juhu office, it was as if a bolt of lightning had struck—the same electric vibe we see today when he struts down the red carpet or interacts with people.

Actor Ranveer Singh is famed not just for his exceptional acting skills, but also for his captivating vigor and self-assuredness. Lately, Bhumi Pednekar recounted some standout moments from Ranveer’s “extraordinary” audition for Band Baaja Baaraat in 2009, when she was a casting director – an encounter that left a lasting impression on her.

During a recent chat show, Kareena Kapoor Khan asked Bhumi to share any memorable moments from her time as a casting director. Additionally, it’s reported that she will collaborate once more with Pulkit, who directed Bhakshak, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment on a future project.
