For three decades now, Nike has been gracing us with the Air Max 95 silhouette, a design that’s left an indelible mark in sneaker lore as a true icon. To honor this significant anniversary, Nike is cooking up quite a few intriguing projects centered around this classic shoe. It’s even been whispered that UNDEFEATED will be releasing five different color schemes, while A Ma Maniére and Corteiz are expected to unveil their unique interpretations of the model later in the season.
Stepping into the gaming world here, I’m hyped to share some exciting news! Nike is bringing back the nostalgia with their “Big Bubble” design from the original look, similar to what they did with the Air Max 1 in 2023. This time around, it’s presented in a sleek “Triple Black” colorway, except for a subtle blue tint on the enlarged Air windows, adding a cool touch to its revamped structure. The new design features air bubbles that seem to burst out of the shoe’s standard shape, making it truly one-of-a-kind!
As I type, Nike hasn’t announced when its larger Air Max 95 “bubble” version will make a comeback. Keep an eye out for the “Triple Black” colorway to debut later in the year on both Nike SNKRS and selected retailers, with a starting price of $175 USD. Stay tuned for further details about this retro redesign.
