He assured fans that he’s working towards a complete recovery and will be attending physical therapy sessions with doctors. Joel is postponing performance dates in Detroit, Toronto, Syracuse, Salt Lake City, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Charlotte, and Milwaukee, with the Detroit concert now scheduled for November. The other shows have been moved to 2026. Joel will restart his tour at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh in July, and he’ll perform New York shows at Yankee Stadium, Metlife Stadium, and Citi Field from July to August.

Last year marked Joel’s 100th performance in a ten-year-long series at Madison Square Garden. This notable event was broadcast by CBS in April, but unfortunately, the final moments were truncated due to a scheduling mix-up, leading them to rebroadcast the concert later on.
Last year marked a return to the Grammys after a hiatus of more than two decades for Joel. He performed his latest single “Turn The Lights Back On” and concluded the awards ceremony with “You May Be Right.
