As a seasoned Call of Duty veteran with a decade under my belt, I can confidently say that Treyarch has outdone themselves yet again with their latest masterpiece, Black Ops 6. The inclusion of functional diving boards is not just a game-changer, but a testament to the studio’s commitment to detail and tradition.
It’s hard to believe, but it seems that by 2024, players might be able to dive off boards and score kills – all thanks to Call of Duty’s upcoming game, Black Ops 6. This new title promises to maintain the classic Treyarch tradition with fully operational diving boards.
These fantastic jump boosters are excellent for getting a ridiculous height advantage over your enemies. One particular Black Ops 6 fan finally discovered these diving boards from Treyarch that have been present ever since Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
First posted on Reddit by user u/Venomborn, they showcased a video of themselves leaping from a diving board in a Call of Duty game and subsequently defeating their opponents. The funniness of the working diving board in a gaming environment prompted them to hope that the developer who incorporated it would discover a hundred dollars in their coat pocket accidentally. In response, Treyarch, the developers, delved deep into the community discussion forum and acknowledged u/Venomborn’s post, expressing that they had been consistently integrating functional diving boards since Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
Enthusiasts of the game are thrilled with the developments Treyarch is making in Black Ops 6. Since 2015, Treyarch has been collaborating with numerous studios on the franchise, but they’ve been creating Call of Duty games since 2005, solidifying their position as a key developer for the series. The charming diving boards found in their games are testament to the care and thoughtfulness put into the design by Treyarch’s team, a level of detail that many studios today seem to miss out on.
Regrettably, I’ve noticed that just like any other gaming community, there can be individuals who express negative or harmful comments in forums. It seems the Treyarch community manager has been receiving criticism from some players who weren’t fond of the maps crafted by the Black Ops 6 design team. However, it’s important to note that the design and management teams are separate entities. That’s a no-brainer!
Despite varying opinions, minor elements such as diving boards spark excitement among many community members, and it remains fair to hold differing views on the quality of the game. Ultimately, it’s Treyarch and their development team who are responsible for crafting the outstanding Call of Duty game we all anticipate.
