Blood of Dawnwalker Devs Say Labels Don’t Matter, Quality Like the Witcher 3 Does

The creators of “The Blood of Dawnwalker” have made it clear that labels such as AA, AAA, or AAAA, which are often used to categorize video games, aren’t particularly relevant for their forthcoming open-world vampire RPG.

Rebel Wolves aspires to provide an exceptional gaming experience, drawing inspiration from renowned role-playing games like The Witcher 3. According to Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, the creative mind behind the project who also served as the lead quest designer for The Witcher 3, their aim is not to conform to specific categories but rather to develop a game that shines in terms of gameplay mechanics, narrative depth, and player interaction.

In a chat with GamesRadar, Tomaszkiewicz expressed that unlike numerous games aiming for the AA or AAA classifications, The Blood of Dawnwalker prioritizes quality over everything else. He emphasized that even though their team isn’t as large as the giant AAA studios, they remain dedicated to providing an equally captivating experience and narrative. They are stretching the limits with the resources at their disposal. This dedication is evident in the game’s aspiration to match the high standards set by The Witcher 3, a game they contributed to so impressively.

Despite its large studio, Tomaszkiewicz guarantees fans that The Blood of Dawnwalker will offer a deep and satisfying role-playing game (RPG) experience. The campaign spans around 30 to 45 hours, yet every hour is packed with intricately designed, engaging content. In terms of gameplay mechanics, the creators draw inspiration from traditional RPGs, particularly Dungeons & Dragons.

The release date for Dawnwalker’s Blood hasn’t been set yet, but its durability suggests it will endure through the ages.
