Bob Odenkirk Is Back and Bruised in ‘Nobody 2’ Footage

It’s almost time to get to know Nobody 2.

During a presentation held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Wednesday afternoon, Universal Pictures unveiled an initial sneak peek of the movie featuring Bob Odenkirk, which is being directed by Timo Tjahjanto (May the Devil Take You) and produced by 87North.

In this movie, we see the actor from “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” once more, playing a character he portrayed before – a seemingly ordinary family man with a hidden past as a retired government hitman. John Ortiz, Connie Nielsen, Sharon Stone, Christopher Lloyd, and Colin Hanks join the cast in this production. The screenplay for the film has been written by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Umair Aleem, and Odenkirk himself.

The video starts with a voiceover in the theater declaring that Odenkirk is back to deliver some serious justice and claim more names. The scenes displayed exclusively for the Colosseum audience indeed show him doing precisely that. The story begins with Odenkirk’s character dishing out a lot of beatings inside an elevator during a convention. Upon returning home, his wife, portrayed by Nielsen, expresses concern as they haven’t spent quality time together for months. With summer vacation fast approaching, the family decides to embark on a trip together.

In the following scene, I find myself and my family reaching our dream vacation spot, a lively carnival. As we enjoy games and explore the attractions, our children are subjected to harassment by both locals and carnival workers. Unable to bear the fights any longer, my character, Hutch (played by Odenkirk), suggests that he left his phone in our vehicle. However, a sudden change of heart leads him back to the carnival, where he takes matters into his own hands, meting out justice to those who had bullied us.

Actor Bob Odenkirk, together with Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, is creating an action-packed thriller. This production is being handled by 87North and their studio agreement, which provides them a first look. Additionally, Marc Provissiero from Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Braden Aftergood of Eighty Two Films are also involved in the production process.

Universal will introduce audiences to Nobody 2 on Aug. 15, 2025.
