Bob Odenkirk’s Epic Return in ‘Nobody 2’ Will Leave You Breathless!

Actor famous for his roles in “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” is coming back on the big screen with his unique talents in the highly anticipated sequel to “Nobody” – “Nobody 2”. Directed by Timo Tjahjanto, who has previously worked on films like “The Shadow Strays” and “The Beekeeper 2”, this action-packed thriller is scheduled for release on August 15, 2025. As per the latest updates from CinemaBlend’s live blog, a sneak peek of the movie has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into the following plot:

Bob Odenkirk is currently on a family holiday, but instead of peace and relaxation, Lindsey Buckingham’s ‘Holiday Road’ provides an upbeat soundtrack for a whimsical display of temper loss by Odenkirk’s character Hutch. Interestingly, his son is exhibiting similar troubles in managing conflicts, making the whole scenario both amusingly absurd and delightful.

Originally launched in 2021, the film titled “Nobody” was helmed by director Ilya Naishuller with screenplay by Derek Kolstad. The cast includes Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, Aleksey Serebryakov, RZA, Christopher Lloyd, and Michael Ironside. In this action-packed movie, Odenkirk’s character from “Better Call Saul” evolves into cinema’s latest action hero. The plot revolves around Odenkirk as Hutch Mansell, a man who appears meek, but his tranquil life is disrupted when burglars invade his suburban home one evening. This incident ignites Hutch’s suppressed fury, awakening dormant instincts and propelling him on a violent journey that exposes hidden secrets and deadly abilities.

It took no time for Universal Pictures’ action movie, widely acclaimed by both critics and audiences, to skyrocket in popularity. With Odenkirk’s captivating charm and his surprising knack for delivering intense fight scenes, Nobody raked in an impressive $57M worldwide while only costing $16 million to produce. This massive success has set the stage for more thrilling escapades of Hutch.
