With Yang, Gladstone, and Tran, the movie also features Han Gi-Chan (from “Where Your Eyes Linger”), Joan Chen (known for “The Last Emperor” and “Twin Peaks”), and Academy Award winner Youn Yuh-Jung (“Minari”). Sharing credit with Andrew Ahn, who co-wrote the original movie, James Schamus is also a co-writer. The film’s world premiere took place at the Sundance Film Festival before its BFI Flare Opening Gala screening followed.
