She’s preparing for her second appearance in a live-action film, collaborating with Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman on a thriller titled “I Want Your Sex,” directed by Gregg Araki under Black Bear Productions.
In a new take on the iconic film “Faces of Death,” directed by Daniel Goldhaber, Charli XCX is set to make her debut alongside Dacre Montgomery, Josie Totah, and Barbie Ferreira. As reported by Deadline, its synopsis goes like this:
When the youthful Elliot Hoffman gets hired for a thrilling position with renowned artist, icon, and thought-provoker Erika Tracy (Wilde), his dreams become reality when she selects him as her creative inspiration in sexual terms. However, Elliot quickly realizes he’s in over his head as Erika leads him on an adventure deeper than he ever dared imagine, into a realm of passion, fixation, power struggles, deceit, and homicide.
The screenplay for the movie titled “I Want Your Sex” has been written by Karley Sciortino and Araki, who is renowned for his daring and unique narratives. This production is being handled by Seth Caplan, Araki, Sciortino, along with Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler from Black Bear. John Friedberg, Joanne Roberts Wiles, and Courtney L.
