2026 sees Cadillac launching its first electric model within the V-Series performance range – the LYRIQ-V. This powerhouse boasts an impressive 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.3 seconds, earning it the title of the quickest production Cadillac ever built.
As a devoted admirer, I’d express it like this: “LYRIQ-V represents my unwavering quest for engineering greatness as Global Cadillac Vice President. It propels our racing legacy into the electric vehicle (EV) age, offering an opulent and tech-savvy driving experience.
As a gamer, I’d say: This LYRIQ-V baby is packed with some serious power! It’s got twin motors for all-wheel drive and a whopping 102-kWh battery, promising around 285 miles on a single charge. If you’re feeling adventurous, Velocity Max unlocks the full performance potential. Plus, with V-Mode, you can tailor the settings to your preferred driving style for some real performance action. And let’s not forget about those Brembo brakes and Competitive Mode – they make this ride as agile and sporty as a high-performance game controller!
The LYRIQ-V stands out on the outside with its bold design features such as a distinctive lower front grille, a Black Crystal Shield grille, and exclusive 22-inch dark sport wheels. A new color option, Magnus Metal Frost, adds a striking accent to its exterior. The interior combines high-performance elements with advanced technology, for instance, a 33-inch LED screen, an augmented reality head-up display, and a top-tier 23-speaker AKG Studio Audio System with Dolby Atmos. The cabin also boasts Nappa leather seats, V-pattern accents, and illuminated sill plates to enhance the luxury experience.
Key features include Continuous Damping Control, a black-coated roof, and Super Cruise, which offers hands-free driving assistance. Manufacturing commences at GM’s Spring Hill facility in Tennessee in early 2025, with an initial price tag of $79,990 USD. The 2026 LYRIQ-V model is scheduled for sale in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and various other international markets.
