- Call of Duty Mobile is set to bring back its Winter War event for the festive season
- Winter War 2 will see new limited-time modes, holiday-themed rewards and more

As a seasoned Call of Duty Mobile gamer, the chilly breeze of winter can only mean one thing – it’s time to gear up for another thrilling battle! After the adrenaline rush of the first Winter War event, I eagerly await the return of its sequel, Winter War 2.
As the temperatures drop outside, things are heating up in Call of Duty Mobile with the arrival of season 11 and the return of the Winter War event! Starting December 12th, we’ll welcome Winter War 2, which brings new temporary game modes, along with a variety of other updates and rewards.
Initially, we’re excited to announce the comeback of two popular modes: Big Head Blizzard and Winter Prop Hunt. In Big Head Blizzard, your goal is to achieve more eliminations than the enemy team, but watch out as success can make your character swell up, making you a larger and easier target. On the other hand, Winter Prop Hunt involves transforming into various holiday-themed items, trying to hide from opponents by merging with the map’s background.
Permanently adopting rotation will mean Demolition, a beloved mode not just in Call of Duty but also in numerous other shooter games. If you’re versed in Counter-Strike, this setup will be familiar to you as it involves switching between defending and attacking bomb locations, requiring you to set and detonate explosive charges.
Cold as ice
Additionally, during the Winter War event, various festive items and prizes are available to win! This includes redesigned operator abilities or beautifully packaged variants of your preferred firearms. The holiday spirit of generosity seems particularly trendy in Call of Duty Mobile this winter season.
Lastly, this season’s Battle Pass offers an abundance of items – it’s packed full of goodies. The latest addition, for instance, is the Douser Grenade that creates a purifying fog, which cancels out specific detrimental effects upon impact.
