Cannes: Oliver Laxe’s ‘Sirat’ Sells Wide Internationally

The Match Factory has secured additional international distribution agreements for the film “Sirat” by Oliver Laxe, which hasn’t been distributed yet by Neon or Mubi in the Cannes Competition.

The film that won the Jury Prize has been purchased for distribution in the United Kingdom and Ireland by Altitude, for Latin America by Cine Video y TV, for the Benelux region by Cineart, by Pandora Film for Germany and Austria, and by Filmcoopi for Switzerland.

Earlier, Sirat, a film that won the Cannes Soundtrack Award at Cannes, was acquired by Neon for North America, while Mubi secured the rights for Italy, Turkey, and India.
