Tomorrow marks the release of the first Title Update for Monster Hunter Wilds, featuring new quests designed to foster competition based on quick completion times. Keeping this in mind, Capcom wants players to be aware that they will deal sternly with anyone found using unauthorized methods or cheating in any way.
On their official Monster Hunter Twitter account, Capcom clearly stated: “To maintain a delightful and balanced gameplay environment for our players, we will penalize accounts involved in dishonest rank advancement methods, including cheating or using unauthorized tools. Violators may face temporary suspensions or limitations, such as being barred from receiving rewards from certain quests.
Abstaining from cheating is essential, but it’s important to note that Capcom has made clear that engaging in multiplayer hunts with cheaters may lead to incorrectly recorded quest completion times and potential withdrawal of rewards for all members in the group.
Capcom advises players to be vigilant and refrain from participating in multiplayer games with individuals suspected of unauthorized activities. If you encounter any instances of suspicious or fraudulent behavior, please report these cheaters to the company for appropriate action.
The challenges you’ll encounter will eventually provide some attractive cosmetic pendants as rewards. Some of these rewards are given to everyone who participates, while others are earned based on the time taken to complete or the hunter’s standing. Given this, it’s understandable that Capcom is being more vigilant about possible cheaters and suspicious activities, as they could potentially affect the distribution of rewards and completion times.
As a gamer diving into Monster Hunter Wilds, I’m excited to share that starting from tomorrow with Title Update 1, we’ll have Time-Based Competition Quests going live! You can find them all through the new Arena Quest Counter in the Grand Hub of Suja. However, before you can access it, make sure to complete the special tutorial mission first to unlock the Grand Hub. For more details about what else is included in Title Update 1, be sure to check out the patch notes!
Kick off your Monster Hunter Wilds journey by exploring what the game doesn’t initially reveal, along with a comprehensive guide encompassing all 14 weapon types. Additionally, we provide an in-depth walkthrough for Monster Hunter Wilds, a guide on multiplayer gameplay to enjoy with friends, and instructions for transferring your MH Wilds Beta character over if you’ve participated in the open betas.
