As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for streetwear and fashion trends that mirror my gaming avatars, I can’t help but be drawn to Carhartt WIP’s latest Fall/Winter 2024 collection. The brand’s ability to blend urban grit with clean, cool-toned garments is nothing short of impressive.
As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that Carhartt WIP is getting ready for the upcoming chill with their latest seasonal offering. Captured by their longtime collaborator, Paul Mérelle, the new collection comes to life on the bustling streets of New York City, offering a striking contrast between sleek, cool-toned apparel – such as technical vests, jackets, and knitwear – and the city’s urban landscape.
The outfitter presents an array of clothing styles inspired by universities, such as the Brown Ducks Bomber Jacket that boasts a body made from felt fabric, completely embellished with chenille patches; this jacket’s sleeves are designed using artificial leather. Carhartt also showcases the Brown Ducks on knitted sweaters and cardigans, each piece adorned with embroidered patches all over. College motifs recur in other items like a tracksuit jacket in a brown tone and a vintage college crewneck sweater as well.

Carhartt emphasizes skillful design in all its collections, and for their first Fall/Winter release, they’ve chosen corduroy as a key material. This is evident in the Whitsome Shirt Jacket and Landon Pant, both made of cotton corduroy in various shades of gray.
