We ended April by showing a sneak peek at another silhouette reemerging from the Nike ACG archive – the ACG Phassad. It was available in “Yellow Zest,” and we pointed out that the Swoosh is staying faithful to the 2002 sneaker by releasing its first-ever retro version of it. Now, as more color options are being revealed before its return, a new “Cave Stone” colorway has been unveiled for closer examination.
Just like the “Yellow Zest” version, this silhouette features its signature shroud system once more, adopting an “Aluminum” blue shade that contrasts with the dominant “Cave Stone” brown on the synthetic upper. This same blue tone is also present on the strap, Swoosh logo, Air branding, and the ACG logo on the heel. Black accents complete the design by appearing on the mudguard, a part of the heel, including its tab, as well as the outsole, making it suitable for outdoor use.
Currently, the Nike ACG team hasn’t disclosed any information about bringing back the ACG Phassad sneaker. Keep an eye out for announcements, including potential release dates for this “Cave Stone” colorway, which we anticipate will become available later in the year. It’s expected to be sold on Nike SNKRS and selected retailers at a starting price of $120 USD.
