As a long-time sneaker enthusiast and follower of the fashion industry, I can confidently say that the latest collaboration between Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen and ASICS is nothing short of a masterpiece. Having been an avid admirer of her work since her debut on the runways in 2022, I’ve eagerly anticipated each seasonal release from this dynamic partnership.
Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GEL-TERRAIN Shoe
Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen has consistently been in the limelight with her ASICS projects, which she has presented seasonally since 2022. Her work has even been featured in our list of the top 10 footwear moments from the Fall/Winter 2024 runways. Now, after much anticipation, Bahnsen’s latest collaboration with ASICS GEL-TERRAIN is officially available
One of ASICS’ latest models, the GEL-TERRAIN, has been involved in multiple collaborations, such as with SAN SAN GEAR and COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT. Currently, it’s collaborating with Cecilie Bahnsen, who has added padded three-dimensional flowers to three distinct designs in red, brown, and black. The shoe boasts a ripstop mesh upper and a shiny finish that adds an eye-catching touch to each pair
If you’re excited about Cecilie Bahnsen’s new ASICS collaboration, the launch kicks off this coming weekend, specifically on September 7, at 41 Division Street in New York City. This follows a press preview on September 6. Each day from September 7 to September 9, one colorway will be released for purchase. Following these initial sales, Cecilie Bahnsen’s global launch of her three GEL-TERRAIN colorways will happen on October 16 through her website, starting at a price of €230 EUR (approximately $255 USD)
