Chance the Rapper Embraces the Lows on New Single “3,333”

As a long-time fan who’s followed Chance the Rapper‘s journey since his mixtape days, I must say that his new song “3,3333” resonates deeply with me. It’s a poignant reminder of the ups and downs every artist faces in their career, and it’s heartwarming to see Chance open up about these moments.

In the fresh track “3,3333,” Chance the Rapper looks back at his experience as a rapper, even delving into some tough phases in his career. Notably, the cover artwork for this song was designed by his talented 8-year-old daughter, Kensli Bennett.

The song’s title references a recent performance where he managed to sell just 3,333 tickets out of a possible 14,000 seating capacity at the Minnesota State Fair venue.

“Now is the time for you to consider stepping back, or perhaps think about what people might say when your work is revealed. You’re sitting there writing with your pen and your beat-making tool (MPC), but you should be concerned about the lack of audience response.”

Even after my agent called, I still took the stage, performing snippets from my forthcoming “Star Line” album. Despite not having the same limelight I enjoyed during my “Coloring Book” era, I’m not letting it dampen my spirit. I’m pressing on.

Listen to Chance the Rapper’s “3,333” everywhere now.
