As a seasoned gamer of music festivals, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon seeing the lineup for Primavera Sound 2025. The trinity of pop it-girls – Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter – is enough to make any music lover’s heart skip a beat.
2025’s Primavera Sound is stacking up with a trio of today’s pop sensations that have me pumped – Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter! In recent years, this Barcelona music festival has soared to unprecedented heights, pulling in crowds from all corners of the globe to groove along with their meticulously crafted lineups. I can’t wait to be part of the action!
Over the summer season of next year, starting on June 5th and lasting until the 7th, a 147-act festival is scheduled to occur. Notable artists such as FKA Twigs, LCD Soundsystem, Clairo, Aminé, HAIM, Jamie xx, Stereolab, and others will also be performing at this event.

Previously, Charli XCX was a main act at the festival along with notable artists such as Lana Del Rey, Vampire Weekend, Mitski, Disclosure, SZA, Justice, and The National.
With the traditional music festivals starting to lose their appeal due to familiarity, events held in diverse locations worldwide and secondary cities are experiencing an upsurge, bolstered by dedicated fan groups and subcultures. Notably, Coachella, once a hotspot of pop culture innovation, has faced significant challenges as high-profile artists like Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar are said to have declined invitations for next year’s performances.
