Charli XCX Goes Full ‘Brat’ Alongside Julia Fox and Alex Consani During Debut Grammys Performance

Charli XCX demonstrated a rebellious spirit during her first performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards, showcasing a “rebellious” attitude to the Recording Academy.

Charli XCX, a well-known British singer, kicked off her live version of “360” in a parking lot next to the Crypto.com Arena, joined by Gabbriette Bechtel and Alex Consani – two stars featured in the music video of the Grammy-nominated track. As is customary for Charli XCX, she turned the performance into a lively party scene, moving around the venue with her group before eventually entering the building.

I had the thrill of taking center stage at the Grammys for a lively rendition of “Guess.” channeling my unique party ambiance. In true Charli XCX fashion, I transformed the main stage into a vibrant club setting, with Julia Fox joining me later in the night. We danced alongside fellow revelers, replicating the energy and style seen in the music video. To make it even more impactful, every unused piece of clothing from the performance will be donated to support survivors of domestic violence.

The singer-songwriter known as “Apple” was victorious at the initial ceremony, claiming her initial three Grammy Awards for categories such as ‘Best Pop Dance Recording’ for “Von dutch,” ‘Best Dance/Electronic Album,’ and ‘Best Recording Package’ for Brat. Additionally, Sunday evening marked Charli XCX’s debut Grammys performance.

2025 saw the Recording Academy nominating the British singer for the Grammys after a ten-year gap. Her first two nominations came at the 57th Grammy Awards for her collaboration with Iggy Azalea on “Fancy,” in the categories of record of the year and best pop duo/group performance.

In the year 2025, she was a standout in the nominations with eight recognition, including a nod for Record of the Year for “360” and Album of the Year for “Brat“. This success came after an influential marketing campaign for the album during the summer of 2024, which catapulted it into a major cultural phenomenon – often referred to as “Brat summer”. The singer-songwriter’s association with this movement even sparked speculation about her connection to Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign. This link was humorously suggested when Charli XCX tweeted, “kamala IS brat.

The singer known for “Von Dutch” music released a separate album, named “Brat“, which is a collection of remixed tracks from the original. This new album features a unique yet still recognizable sound. Boasting 17 songs, it includes collaborations with artists such as Troye Sivan, Charli XCX’s longtime partner in music and co-headliner of the Sweat tour, Lorde, Billie Eilish, and others. The remix of “Guess” done by the artist and Billie Eilish was nominated for the 2025 Grammy Awards under the category of best pop duo/group performance.

Charli XCX shared the stage with several other performers on Sunday evening, such as Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Shakira, Benson Boone, Doechii, RAYE, and Teddy Swims.

Trevor Noah served as the host for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, broadcasted live from Los Angeles on February 2nd. For the full rundown of the evening’s honorees, check it out here.
