The star of Daredevil, Charlie Cox, has harbored aspirations to portray the cherished Marvel vigilante for years to come. He’s planning the climax of his MCU journey around an upcoming comic arc. Cox is gearing up to reprise his iconic superhero role in the upcoming Disney+ series titled Daredevil: Born Again. At FAN EXPO San Francisco, he shared (via @MCU_Direct) that he intends to play Matt Murdock for many more years…and looks forward to his final performance drawing inspiration from Hugh Jackman’s Logan.

They’re about to publish a comic set in Matt Murdock’s 60s. That sounds interesting, so there’s plenty of time for us to look forward to it.

In my opinion, the comic that Cox is talking about is a highly anticipated title called “Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell.” This upcoming masterpiece is brought to us by renowned artist Steve McNiven, who has previously graced us with his work on “Civil War,” and New York Times best-selling author Charles Soule, known for “Death of Wolverine.” This comic will be available starting April this year and has been compared to McNiven’s previous work, “Old Man Logan,” which served as the foundation for the critically acclaimed 2017 film, “Logan.” In essence, it seems that “Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell” is set to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor.

Charlie Cox’s portrayal of Matt Murdock/Daredevil will resume in the MCU with “Daredevil: Born Again”, a highly anticipated series that has just released its first trailer.
