Check Out J Balvin's 'Rayo'-Inspired Air Jordan 4s

As a gamer with a keen eye for sneakers and a heart that beats for Reggaeton, I can’t help but feel a twinge of envy towards J Balvin. The man just keeps scoring wins, doesn’t he? From collaborating with Jordan Brand on iconic silhouettes like the Air Jordans 1, 2, and now the 3, to dropping fire albums that make us want to dance and cry at the same time, he’s truly a master of his craft.

Last week, Latin music sensation J Balvin released his newest Reggaeton album titled “Rayo“. Since then, he’s been busy giving interviews across various media platforms.

Recently, I had an interaction with DIMELOKING, who pointed out a unique chrome-colored Air Jordan 4 sneakers that Balvin was sporting. At first, we weren’t certain if these shoes were his upcoming collaboration with the Jordan Brand, given his previous work on the Air Jordan 3 following collaborations on the Air Jordan 2 and 1. However, it was later discovered that this design is a custom creation by @andu.c. The design draws inspiration from the album cover for “Rayo,” and initially had a “Military Black” appearance in 2022, but now includes white and shimmering chrome elements throughout.

Since these Air Jordan 4s modeled after Rayo and custom-made for J Balvin won’t be sold, fans can only hope that if Balvin continues his series of Air Jordan releases, the Air Jordan 4 will be the next design he collaborates on with the brand. Keep an eye out for updates on J Balvin x Jordan Brand as we wait to hear about their future projects together.
