Check Out the 2025 Grammy Nominations

As a seasoned music enthusiast and critic with a keen ear for diverse genres, I must say that this year’s Grammy nominations are nothing short of a symphony of sounds from around the globe! With my ears still ringing from the eclectic mix of tunes, let me share some of my thoughts.

For the 2025 Grammys scheduled on February 2, the nominees have been announced. Leading the pack is Beyoncé, who now holds the title of the most-nominated artist ever in Grammy history, with a staggering 11 nominations this year and an impressive total of 99 nominations across her career.

The country artist earned nominations for her album “Cowboy Carter” as well as several of its tracks, joining Beyoncé in the Album of the Year category. Other contenders in this category include Taylor Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department,” Billie Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” Charli XCX’s “Brat,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet,” Jacob Collier’s “Djesse Vol. 4,” André 3000’s “New Blue Sun,” and Chappell Roan’s “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.

In addition to Benson Boone, Doechii, Khruangbin, Raye, Shaboozey, and Teddy Swims, Roan and Carpenter were also nominees for the Best New Artist award.
