Chhaava OTT release: Where is Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s film expected to stream after theatrical run? Find out

The movie “Chhaava,” starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, has now hit the big screens. This biographical drama, directed by Laxman Utekar, is garnering positive feedback from cinema-goers. Additionally, speculations are circulating about which streaming platform will host its online release.

As per information from OTTplay’s report, the film “Chhaava,” starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, is expected to debut on streaming platform Netflix following its cinematic release. Interestingly, unlike most productions that announce their digital partners in promotional materials, the team behind “Chhaava” has chosen not to disclose this information just yet.

Previously, I’ve witnessed movies landing on digital platforms about 45-60 days post-release. However, the creators of the grand historical epic remain tight-lipped regarding its digital availability as of now.

During a chat with Radio Nasha, Kaushal shared that the character Chhaava presented the toughest physical challenge of his acting journey. He confided that it took him seven months to build 25 kilograms of muscle, a feat he found incredibly taxing.

It was made clear by director Laxman Utekar that he wouldn’t start filming until actor Vicky had fully prepared for his role, which involved not just developing the necessary physical appearance, but also learning to ride horses, practice sword fighting, and undergo combat training.

Vicky asserted that the director emphasized genuine portrayal, meaning minimal use of visual effects in those areas. Furthermore, the actor was required to let his hair and beard grow during the preparation phase for the film’s physical makeover prior to filming.

In addition to his role as Sam Bahadur, the actor emphasized the grandeur of the production process. He explained that when viewers see 2,000 people in a single scene, these individuals were physically present on set during filming. Remarkably, the movie utilized no less than 2,000 junior artists and 500 of the nation’s top stunt performers. These talented individuals collectively contributed to the authentic, high-impact cinematic experience that audiences will enjoy.

Under the guidance of director Laxman Utekar, the movie titled Chhaava stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, with Rashmika Mandanna portraying his wife, Maharani Yesubai. Akshaye Khanna takes on the role of Aurangzeb in this production.

Besides Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta, several other notable actors are contributing significantly to the film’s plot. Starting from today, or February 14, 2025, you can catch Chhaava in movie theaters, produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
