Chicago Med’s Sarah Ramos Roasted by LA Journalists After Move to Windy City!

Over the course of its 10 seasons, Chicago Med has welcomed numerous medical professionals at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. It’s always exciting to see who will be joining the team next, and for Season 10, we have a new addition: Sarah Ramos. Dr. Lenox, her character, prefers a more serious approach, but in real life, Sarah has handled roasting by LA journalists with ease following her move to Chicago.

Because the “One Chicago” series are filmed in Chicago, Ramos had to relocate there for her latest role. This transition proved challenging for her. In the past, she has spoken about not having many friends, and during an interview on KTLA 5 to promote the NBC drama, this aspect was revisited by the journalists. However, everyone present seemed amused.

Luckily, Ramos took to Instagram to share the clip alongside the caption, “Glam for getting absolutely roasted on KTLA”:

I’m not Ramos, and hearing that comment was a bit of a jab, considering how challenging it can be to forge friendships as an adult. Yet, the fact that she’s chuckling about it indicates it wasn’t overly serious, and she’s taking responsibility for her words. This just makes the situation more amusing.

Hopefully, though, she has made friends in Chicago and can call her co-stars her pals too.

Making friends as an adult, especially when moving to a new city for work, can prove challenging. However, the fact that Ramos can joke about her lack of friends several months later suggests she may have grown more accustomed and comfortable in her new environment. Meanwhile, Lenox’s popularity on Chicago Med might not be as high, but it appears Ramos is well-liked there.

Currently, Chicago Med has been quite engaging with the developing storyline between Archer and Hannah potentially becoming a couple, Ripley reaching a new low by getting suspended and coming close to death, among other things. This year, for the first time since 2019’s “Infection” crossover event, it intertwined plots with Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D., making for an intense viewing experience as usual.

Regarding Dr. Lenox, she’s certainly kept things lively in the Emergency Department. Whether she’ll stay on if there’s a Season 11 remains uncertain, but who knows? With several episodes left in Season 10 of Chicago Med, it promises to be an intriguing ride.

On Wednesdays, you can catch new episodes at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on NBC, or if you prefer, stream them the following day with a Peacock subscription.
