Christina Haack Proved She’s Getting Along Great With Ex Tarek El Moussa By Showing Off Their Blended Family Christmas Eve

As a seasoned moviegoer who has witnessed more than a few family feuds unfold on and off the silver screen, I must say that the sight of Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa spending Christmas Eve together with their kids is like watching a Hollywood blockbuster with an unexpectedly heartwarming twist. After all, who would have thought that the exes from HGTV’s Flip or Flop series would one day be sharing holiday cheer?

Prior to their upcoming series The Flip Off, airing on HGTV’s 2025 schedule, Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa celebrated Christmas Eve together with their children. In other words, before the friendly competition on HGTV kicks off, these exes demonstrated a wonderful family bond by celebrating the holiday season together.

It was evident that Haack and El Moussa spent their holiday together as she posted on Instagram Stories (according to Us Weekly) a picture of both their mothers smiling together, standing by the buffet. She labeled it “Cute grandmas,” which was part of a series of photos that also included her children Brayden, Hudson, and her sister Carly.

Earlier in October, it was shared by Heather Rae El Moussa (Tarek’s spouse) with a media source that their holiday plans for this year would be as previously planned.

Typically, Tarek and Christina’s children – Brayden and Taylor – alternate their holidays, celebrating Christmas Eve with one parent and Christmas Day with the other. This year, though, they chose to celebrate as a family on both days, as Heather mentioned.

Typically, Taylor and Brayden join us on Christmas day. However, she usually spends Christmas Eve with them. But this year, it looks like we’ll be celebrating Christmas Eve as a family for one of the first times.

This holly jolly spirit stayed alive on socials too! Heather and Tarek took to Instagram to post a joint Christmas carousel of images (which you can see below). Featuring matching PJs and all the kids, it looks like they had a fantastic holiday (despite Tarek and Heather’s son Tristan crying), and Haack showed her love for the festivities too by liking the post and commenting “❤️❤️.”

Despite their separation in 2016, Haack and El Moussa managed to collaborate on the show Flip or Flop, finding a way to coparent their two children effectively. Later, both moved on, with El Moussa entering a relationship with Heather Rae (who he’s still with), and Haack marrying Ant Anstead until 2021, followed by Josh Hall; however, they recently filed for divorce this summer.

The separation of Haack and Hall brought some changes to “The Flip Off,” as the concept initially revolved around a face-off between them and the El Moussas. Yet, the current advertisements for the show only highlight Tarek, Heather, and Christina.

It’s evident that Haack and El Moussa are getting along well these days – in fact, not only are they collaborating professionally, but they also celebrated the holidays together. Moreover, Christina and Heather have previously united to support each other and their children. Therefore, it appears that all is going smoothly between these three individuals.

Get ready to cheer them on as they go head-to-head! The much-anticipated show “Flip Off” will air on Wednesday, January 29th at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. You can catch it live on HGTV or with a Max subscription.
