Christopher Walken “Doesn’t Have the Equipment” to Stream ‘Severance’ and Instead Receives DVDs

Christopher Walken probably won’t be streaming Severance any time soon.

During the publicity for season two of the Apple TV+ series, Chris Walken and his co-stars graced SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. Cohen inquired, “Chris, did you end up watching every episode after you were featured on the show?

The performer, portraying Optics and Design Head Burt Goodman, offered an unexpected remark. “Not everyone,” he stated, later conceding, “I’m unable to. I lack the necessary tools.

He continued: “So, they’re good enough to send me DVDs.”

Walker’s reply led Cohen to probe further, asking if Walker had a subscription to the Apple TV+ streaming service for Severance. Walker replied, “I don’t possess anything in that regard.

Cohen replied: “I love you for that!”

The opening episode of “Severance” season two was released on Friday, nearly three years following the cliffhanger ending of the first season finale. Interestingly, the show’s creator, Dan Erickson, had already started working on the second season even before the first season premiered, as he shared with The Hollywood Reporter.

As a gamer, I’m always on the edge of my seat, wondering if this season will finally unravel some of the mysteries that have been keeping me hooked. It’s like building a towering Jenga tower, where each layer reveals something new but also hints at an even bigger enigma lurking below. I don’t want to leave fans hanging or make them feel like they’re chasing shadows without answers. But at the same time, I wouldn’t want to spoil the magic by over-explaining and diminishing that sense of wonder. The secret lies in ensuring that every answer leads to a new path, a new adventure waiting to be explored.

New episodes of Severance will be released weekly on Apple TV+.
