As a dedicated fan myself, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be stepping up as the showrunner for the Netflix series, “Clash.

ICON Creative Studio is leading the animation for Netflix’s show titled “Clash,” with Ron Weiner serving as its lead writer. Notably, he has worked on popular shows like “Silicon Valley,” “30 Rock,” and “Futurama,” so there may be a hint of humor in the script. The plot revolves around a barbarian who is determined but finds himself in over his head. He must assemble a group of oddballs to protect their village, all while dealing with the absurdly comical politics of war. Previously employed at Netflix, now working for Supercell Film & TV, Curtis Lelash has shared some insights on what viewers might anticipate.

Netflix boasts an impressive lineup of animated series based on video games, such as Arcane, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Devil May Cry, Sonic Prime, and many others. The Witcher, another hit in the video game-to-TV adaptation category, has also been successful, although the main series is live-action. It has given rise to several animated spin-offs, including The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf and The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep. The latter debuted exclusively on Netflix on February 11, 2025, but it sparked more debate among fans than other titles in the franchise.
