Now, Supercell is taking their celebrity collaborations to the next level with an unusual partnership for Clash Royale – Michael Bolton (you guessed it, that Michael Bolton) has created a unique music video featuring him alongside the renowned Barbarian character, offering a fresh interpretation of his popular love ballad How Am I Supposed to Live Without You.
This partnership not only includes a fresh music video tailored for Clash Royale players who have taken a break, but the Barbarian character is also seen with a trendy mullet and handlebar mustache in his role as the Barboltian. (I can’t help but laugh writing this)
Instead of just being a comedic music video, you can find “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You” on your favorite music streaming platform! Unfortunately, there’s no word (yet) about a campaign offering incentives for players who have stopped playing, so it seems that Supercell is counting on the powerful singing voice of Barboltian to attract them.

After the initial amusement and exaggerated astonishment subsides, it’s not all that surprising to see Bolton collaborating with them. With the high-profile personalities Supercell has worked with in promoting their popular titles lately, this collaboration seems less unexpected.

While adorable, I’m uncertain if a humorous music video imitation would significantly attract former players. Instead, let’s hope for a comeback marketing strategy or in-game offer that will surely entice even the most reluctant gamers among us.
