When it comes to AppSir, the mobile developer, there’s one thing you can always count on – their creations are always worth checking out. Whether it’s our rave review for Spooky Pixel Hero or any other of their games, they consistently hit the mark when it comes to unique indie entertainment. And their latest offering, Climb Knight, is no different!

Initially, you might think “Haven’t we talked about Climb Knight before?” Indeed, we did discuss it, and our review was quite favorable. However, it seems the creators at AppSir were astonished by the game’s positive response. Consequently, they’ve announced a significant update set to launch on February 25th, and

What’s being proposed? How about adding three additional one-bit minigames and an unusual advisor modeled after Apple Newton software? And considering AppSir’s track record, I’m confident there are many hidden features and novel gameplay elements in this new advisor and game.

What’s being proposed? Here’s a suggestion: Add three extra one-bit minigames and an enigmatic advisor reminiscent of Apple Newton shareware. Given AppSir’s history, I’m sure there are plenty of surprises in store for the new advisor and gameplay mechanics.

AppSir demonstrates that a committed independent developer can break free from conventional norms and gain popularity on mobile devices. While they may not be the groundbreaking newcomers in smartphone development, there are certain parallels between their distinctive, retro-inspired game library and the acclaimed Faith trilogy’s eerie atmosphere.
