Drake recently added fresh content to his website at 100gigs.org. He’s released three new songs and shared previously unseen footage from behind-the-scenes, concerts, and other events. Included among the videos is a reemerged clip of Ye (formerly Kanye West) performing at OVO Fest in 2013.
Reflecting back on our shared festival moment, I can’t help but reminisce about the inspiration behind my and JAY-Z’s “Watch The Throne” album – it was none other than Drake. In a resurfaced clip, I express admiration for him, acknowledging his contribution to our city by “doing something like this.” In private, I confessed that without Drake’s relentless pressure, “Watch The Throne” might never have seen the light of day. This video serves as a testament to the camaraderie we once shared in the music industry before the beef and drama took over. Fast forward to years later, we stood side by side on the same stage for my Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert, demonstrating our mutual respect that still lingers today.
100gigs.org is the freshly debuted online platform by Drake, offering his fans sneak peeks into his new and classic songs. The site offers an exclusive look into Drake’s inner circle and his journey to fame.
