Japanese designer Ryota Iwai and his brand AURALEE are expanding their partnership with New Balance by releasing another collaboration. Previously during the SS25 runway show in Paris Fashion Week last summer, they introduced the 475 in two new colorways. For the upcoming Fall/Winter 2025 season, AURALEE has revealed a fresh collaboration on the T500 shoe model.
The shape of the tennis shoe is a contemporary sneaker that revamps the concept of casual athletic footwear. Originally designed for the tennis court in 1982, this shoe has been reimagined as the preferred ’80s-inspired tennis shoe for today. It gained fame through collaborations with Aimé Leon Dore and is now experiencing another surge in popularity as the silhouette chosen by AURALEE for their FW25 collection.
Made from high-quality materials, this shoe exudes both simplicity and sophistication suitable for daily use. For the FW25 season, AURALEE and New Balance have introduced two unique colorways. The T500 model will be available in a “Brown” shade as well as a stylish “Lime Green,” each made from premium leather with a perforated toe-box for breathability. The color choices are soft and understated, favoring a tonal design scheme. The shoe includes co-branded AURALEE and New Balance insoles and will be packaged in a custom box.
Keep an eye out for when the FW25 AURALEE x New Balance CT500 partnership’s official launch date will be announced.
