Last year, the game “Final Fantasy VII” Rebirth was launched, and fans are aware that Square Enix intends to release a trilogy of games to continue this fresh retelling of Cloud’s tale. Although no formal news has been shared by Square Enix as yet, a fan has uncovered hints about Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3, thanks to the voice actor for Cloud, Cody Christian.
Based on one of Christian’s Instagram posts, it appears that he might be currently engaged in the development of the third installment of Final Fantasy VII.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 Underway?

While it hasn’t been formally announced yet, there’s a strong belief among fans that Christian might be working on the Final Fantasy VII project again, considering the long development phase anticipated for the Final Fantasy VII Remake games.
How Long Before the Third Game
As a dedicated gamer, I’ve been eagerly keeping tabs on the release dates, and let me tell you, it’s been quite a wait. The remake dropped back in 2020, and we finally got our hands on Rebirth last year. Given this timeline, it’s not entirely far-fetched to speculate that Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 might be targeting a release in 2028.
It’s worth noting that since the trilogy has been in the works for some time, there’s a chance that plans might shift. However, considering Square’s reputation, it seems quite probable that they will postpone releases to ensure the final product is as flawless as possible before its market launch.
More Remakes Down the Line?
Following the achievement of Final Fantasy VII Remake, there’s been buzz suggesting that Square Enix might have other remakes in the works. While we do know a remake of Final Fantasy IX is under development, it’s unlikely to follow the same format as the Final Fantasy VII Remake.
