As a long-time resident of Beantown and a connoisseur of footwear, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement every time CNCPTS and New Balance collaborate. Their partnership has been a testament to Boston’s rich heritage in both sneaker culture and military history for over a decade now!
As a devoted sneaker enthusiast, I’m eagerly anticipating the upcoming release of the CNCPTS x New Balance 1906U “Hours and Days“. The exact colorway, SKU, and MSRP are yet to be revealed, but it’s set to drop on August 2. Keep your eyes peeled on CNCPTS for more details on where you can grab a pair of these stylish kicks!
Over the past ten years, CNCPTS has fostered a strong partnership with New Balance, a Boston-based brand, collaborating extensively on various footwear endeavors. Recently, they reunited to reintroduce the “C-Note” project from 2013, which was brought back in October of last year.
The duo has once more delved into their past for fresh ideas, revisiting the CNCPTS x New Balance 999 “SEAL” from 2012, a shoe inspired by materials used in U.S military footwear. They’ve now transformed this design onto the utility-focused 1906U model, which was introduced earlier this year. The new version has an “Hours and Days” theme that bridges the gap between older and younger generations, emphasizing running as a shared experience. As for the sneaker itself, it boasts mesh, suede, and nubuck details in off-white, teal, green, and various shades of brown, with reflective accents on some of its overlays.
The themed New Balance 1906U by CNCPTS, with a theme of “Hours and Days”, will be available for purchase starting at 11am EDT on August 2, only through the CNCPTS website.
