Cody Christian to Star in Sci-Fi Thriller ‘SYNC’ (Exclusive)

As a seasoned gamer with an eye for recognizing talent, I must say I’m genuinely thrilled about Cody Christian‘s latest role in the sci-fi thriller ‘SYNC’. His versatility, having played Mike Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars and Asher Adams on All American, not to mention his iconic voice role as Cloud Strife, makes him an ideal choice for this intriguing character.

Actors Cody Christian, Jonetta Kaiser, and Michael Pare have secured main parts in the upcoming science fiction thriller titled “SYNC“. This movie is set to be revealed during the casual market segment of the Toronto Film Festival.

In the year 2035, Christian portrays a man mourning the loss of his fiancée, who will be played by Kaiser. This character seeks solace in groundbreaking technology that allows him to interact with an artificially intelligent replica of his deceased loved one. However, as he becomes more involved in these virtual meetings, Christian’s character starts to notice inconsistencies in the AI’s behavior.

Apart from starring as Mike Montgomery on “Pretty Little Liars”, Christian has also held a recurring character on the CW series “All American” for six seasons, where he portrayed Asher Adams. Additionally, he lends his voice to the renowned mercenary Cloud Strife in the Square Enix’s “Final Fantasy” role-playing video games and was honored with a BAFTA Award nomination for outstanding performance in a leading role.

RJ Zabasky is all set to direct his first feature film, titled “SYNC“, which he has penned himself. This movie is scheduled to be filmed in Los Angeles this coming Fall. The star-studded cast features Jake Ebright, Abigaille Ozrey, Emily Ozrey, Jill Lover, and Frederick Trankels.

Under the flag of his own production company, Doolin Entertainment, Zabasky is also working on a project titled SYNC . Alongside him in this venture are Kami Norton, Evan Sorlien, and Vincent Young. Jaime Gallagher and Jacob Samuel are jointly responsible for the production as well.

Christian is managed by Julie Fulop at AKA Talent Agency, Williams Unlimited, The Brand Partners, and Hayes Robbins at GGSSC. Kaiser is represented by Gwenn Pepper from Defining Artists Agency and LINK Entertainment. Paré is represented by Sovereign Talent Group and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
