Comedian Naomi Watanabe Signs With UTA, Brillstein (Exclusive)

Comedian Naomi Watanabe has secured representation from United Talent Agency (UTA) and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, covering all aspects of her career.

The multitalented entertainer, known for his humor, acting, voiceovers, modeling, and influence in fashion, aims to grow his career globally, particularly within the English-speaking sphere of movies, television, stand-up comedy, and more, by securing American representation.

In 2007, Watanabe first appeared on the Japanese comic scene, but it wasn’t long before she caught attention with her lip-sync performances of Beyoncé’s “Dreamgirls” and “Crazy in Love.” Her ability to mimic celebrities showcased both her comedic and acting talents. Eventually, Watanabe decided to relocate to New York City to pursue opportunities in the American comedy industry.

In 2021, the comedian was responsible for and presented the comedy podcast titled “Naomi Takes America“, which was later followed by a seven-city comedy tour. Fast forward to 2024, she also hosted “Stand Up with Naomi Watanabe” at the Gramercy Theater, where her English language comedy debut for one night only was such a hit that both shows were sold out.

Known for her dominance on social media platforms, Watanabe is a well-recognized figure in the realms of fashion and beauty. She has established strategic collaborations with prominent brands such as Adidas x Ivy Park, Gap, Marc Jacobs, Fendi, and Hugo Boss globally. Additionally, she has ventured into creating her own streetwear brand, Punyus.
