In Concord, the original character roster consists of sixteen distinct figures. Each of these characters comes with a set of variations, which are altered renditions that may appear slightly diverse. Additionally, each variation brings its exclusive combat traits to the table.

Based on my personal experience, I strongly believe that distinguishing between different variants of an item can be made simpler by examining their profile cards. I own two versions of a Lennox collectible, one marked with Roman numeral I and the other with II. Over the years, I have come to rely on this method to easily identify and organize my collection. It saves me time and effort, as the information on each card is clearly presented, making it a valuable tool for any collector.

Based on my observation, every variant of a hero follows the same advancement path. Consequently, experience points (XP) gained by playing with Lennox I will be reflected in the progression of Lennox II.

As a fan, I’d describe Combat Traits in Concord this way: Each hero comes equipped with unique bonus abilities, which I refer to as Combat Traits. Different Freegunner Variants bring their own distinct Combat Traits to the battlefield.

For instance, Lennox’s combat trait in the original version is “Regenerate ammunition for your weapon during a dodge.” In comparison, Lennox II comes with an additional “Bonus ammo for both weapons.”

You can try out various adaptations of the same Freegunner character in the Combat Trait system to discover which one aligns best with your gaming approach. Personally, I’m partial to using Lennox II since I don’t frequently employ the dodge maneuver and therefore don’t feel the full advantage of Lennox I’s Combat Trait.

In simple terms, completing tasks in the “Freegunners” section of the Job Board will help you access fresh variations for your Freegunner character.

Currently, I’m tasked with dealing 8,000 points of ability damage for Teo’s set. Once accomplished, I’ll gain access to Teo II, boasting the ‘Extended Magazines and extra grenades’ Combat Trait.

To get a new variation of a particular Freegunner, it’s probably necessary to extensively use the original character first. Keep an eye on the Freegunners section of the Job Board for updates, as this information is likely to change with each passing day.
