Converse and Daily Paper Enter the Boxing Ring

As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that Converse and Daily Paper have stepped into the ring once more! After their successful “Colors of Independence” partnership last year, these two powerhouses are back together for a boxing-themed collection inspired by the tough blows life can deal.

Entitled “Climbing Through the Ropes,” this symbolic assortment combines shoes and clothing pieces that honor “determination, tenacity, and the power to rise above challenges,” according to the brand’s statement.

76, our standout player, heads the team. The selection offers both high- and low-cut designs, infused with whimsical star patterns and dual symbolism. The high-tops are presented in “White Sand” hues, while the low-tops can be found in “Black”, embellished with Daily Paper’s signature accents of red, yellow, and green.

Simultaneously, the apparel collection of five items features a stadium jacket adorned with vibrant patches and the distinct pan-African colors. Additionally, there are two hoodies crafted using Converse’s focus on comfort, along with wide-leg pants and a thermal t-shirt.

The entirety of what we have discussed thus far is showcased in the collaborative project’s advertising effort, which was filmed in Casablanca, Morocco, and portrays instances of resilience and drive. Essentially, it symbolizes overcoming obstacles step by step.
