Cordae Drops New Song and Music Video “Mad as F***”

As a longtime fan of Cordae’s raw lyricism and storytelling, I must say his latest single “Mad as F***” has me pumped! Growing up with my own mom whipping an Acura truck, hearing him shout out about buying her a Beamer hits close to home. It’s not every day you hear a rapper paying homage to the struggles and successes of everyday folks like us.

Cordae energizes himself and his companions with his latest single titled “Mad as F***.” Accompanying this release is a music video filmed in a home-movie style. The song showcases the artist incorporating various cultural references, all while showcasing his affluence.

“I got my mom a BMW, she’d been driving an Acura truck before / Had to replace the crib as the old one wasn’t sufficient.

In the course of the track, Cordae makes references to Halle Berry, Lauryn Hill, Jordan Peele, Lil Uzi Vert, and JT.

In simpler terms, the rapper and his companions wander through town, relaxing at a laundry mat and a fast-food restaurant.

Following the collaboration with Lil Wayne on “Saturday Mornings” and the duet with Anderson .Paak titled “Summer Drop,” a new release has been made available.
