As a dedicated sneakerhead and space enthusiast who’s been following the COSTS x Saucony collaboration since its inception, I am thrilled to see the final installment of their “Infinite Galaxy” capsule – the Kinvara 4 “Meteorite Sand“. Having grown up dreaming about Mars rovers and Martian landscapes, this pair resonates deeply with my childhood fantasies.
Product Name: Saucony Kinvara 4 in “Meteorite Sand” Colorway
In a collaboration between Hong Kong retailer COSTS and brand Saucony, they have revealed their last drop for the Kinvara 4 series, named “Meteorite Sand.” This limited edition pair signifies the conclusion of their “Infinite Galaxy” collection, which will reach its peak on November 9 during the “Playful Galaxy” event.
The Meteorite Sand is comparable to the Interstellar Grey Kinvara 4, which is regionally exclusive and will also be a special edition. Unlike its predecessor, sporting a minimalistic moon-inspired monochrome design, this new pair embraces a Mars-like aesthetic, boasting deep reds and pinks with a gritty textured finish. The Saucony Three Rivers logo stands out, surrounded by a pearlescent backdrop that lends a shimmering, cosmic effect. Distinctive elements such as intricate stitching patterns and a see-through base echo the characteristics that made the earlier version distinctive.
The last duo is scheduled to release on November 9th, exclusively through COSTS’ official webstore, priced at approximately $140 USD (¥990 CNY). Currently, the Interstellar Grey pair is up for grabs in certain sizes. Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that COSTS will be part of this year’s Hypefest Hong Kong events, offering a carnival-themed booth where attendees can win unique rewards by playing games.
