‘Coyote Ugly’ Cast, Producer Jerry Bruckheimer to Reunite for Screening and Q&A to Benefit LA Fires

The cast of Coyote Ugly is reuniting.

The stars from the 2001 movie and its producer Jerry Bruckheimer are planning to hold a special screening of the film at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica on February 26th. They will also participate in a question-and-answer session. This event, happening during the movie’s 25th anniversary, aims to raise funds for those impacted by the Los Angeles Fires.

The funds raised from this event will aid the Global Empowerment Mission in helping people impacted by the catastrophic Los Angeles Fires. Information about tickets and additional details can be found online for our 35mm screening. Unfortunately, we haven’t announced which cast members will be attending yet.

The 2001 movie featured Piper Perabo, Tyra Banks, Maria Bello, Bridget Moynahan, Izabella Miko, Melanie Lynskey, John Goodman, Adam Garcia, and a cameo by LeAnne Rimes. Directed by David McNally, this film, inspired by the actual Coyote Ugly Saloon franchise, revolves around Piper Perabo’s character Violet, an aspiring singer who lands a job as a barmaid at Coyote Ugly. In this setting, she discovers self-assurance and breaks out of her shell while serving drinks and entertaining customers.

In the gaming world, just like when my virtual city gets wiped out by an unexpected fire, I sadly found myself in a similar situation back in January. One of the stars from a movie I’m a fan of, Banks, shared that her real-life home was among those tragically destroyed by the fires that erupted in L.A.

On the Australian morning program known as Sunrise, the model disclosed that she discovered she had lost her shared residence (with her partner) during their stay in Australia.

At a friend’s place, we were enjoying ourselves without a care in the world. I frequently glanced at my phone, not out of concern for home, but to ensure my loved ones were safely evacuating. Then, I turned to my partner and asked, “What do you make of this?” He seemed to understand, giving a nod in response.

She gathered her thoughts, remained silent amidst her friends, immersed in the current situation, and later on, they all returned home, shedding tears and sharing their emotions.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share my admiration for the iconic Coyote Ugly Saloon, a chain of 13 bars spread across the nation, all tracing their roots back to the original establishment on 1st Avenue in New York City, which opened its doors on January 27, 1993. This legendary watering hole gained even more recognition in early 1997 when Elizabeth Gilbert, a former Coyote bartender, penned an intriguing piece titled “The Muse of the Coyote Ugly Saloon” for GQ magazine. The Coyote Ugly phenomenon has since expanded to include bars in the UK and Japan, with plans for international growth continuing to unfold.
