In terms of his career, Singh is at present working on the set of Don 3 alongside Kiara Advani, under the guidance of director Farhan Akhtar. Earlier reports suggested that Farhan was thrilled about the production, expressing his anticipation by saying, “We plan to start shooting for Don 3 next year (2025), and I can’t wait for it!
During a recent conversation on YouTube host Raj Shamani’s podcast, Farhan discussed the choice of casting Ranveer Singh for Don 3 and why he didn’t opt for a trilogy starring Shah Rukh Khan instead.
It was stated that the script for Don 3 requires an up-and-coming actor such as Ranveer, whom they described as both charming and mischievous with plenty of energy.
In simple terms, the filmmaker-actor thinks Ranveer hasn’t played a part quite like the one he’ll depict in the new Don series yet. He stated that there are areas within Ranveer’s acting career where his talent remains undiscovered or unexploited.
Instead, you might say: Dhawan will be seen in the upcoming series “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu. This show is slated to debut on Amazon Prime Video on November 7, 2024. Additionally, he has projects like “Baby John” and “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” with Janhvi Kapoor in the pipeline.
In the meantime, Aditya is set to star alongside Sara Ali Khan in Anurag Basu’s upcoming movie titled “Metro…In Dino”. This new film is actually a follow-up to the 2007 production called “Life in the Metro”.
