David Moscow’s travel and culinary show From Scratch is getting another season.
The Moscow-hosted program, airing on Tastemade’s streaming platform in April, will present fresh episodes delving into diverse global locations such as Sweden and Kansas City, Missouri. It offers viewers a unique perspective, revealing the intricate workings of the planet’s food supply chain, including where it comes from, who contributes to its production, and why it holds significance.
The series features Moscow, recognized for his portrayals as a younger version of the Big character from Tom Hanks’ film and Davey in Newsies, challenged to obtain all the ingredients for a meal from scratch. He collaborates with local farmers and foragers to gather, hunt, fish, and cultivate each component of the recipe, then returns these goods to the chef, who helps him recreate the initial dish.
As a gamer, I can’t wait for this season where some of the world’s top culinary masters will be showcased! Among them are Douglas Keane, a two-time Michelin star winner, Jennifer Jasinski, a finalist on Top Chef Masters and James Beard Award recipient, and Eric Vildgaard from the three-time Michelin star restaurant Jordnær. Can’t wait to see their culinary masterpieces!
In every episode, Moscow delves deeply into the region’s past, immerses itself in the challenges faced by local food producers, and discovers the breathtaking natural wonders that each area has to offer.

From Scratch is executive-produced in Moscow, with Karen Moscow taking on the roles of both showrunner and executive producer, while Jason Dreyer serves as an executive producer.
