Dawn Staley Reveals Nike A’One “Black Label” PE

Approximately a week has passed since Nike Basketball introduced A’ja Wilson’s initial signature shoe, known as the Nike A’One. While fans and sneaker enthusiasts eagerly anticipate its release in May, a unique “Black Label” edition has recently been revealed by Dawn Staley, the highly respected coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team, where Wilson played for all four years of her college career.

For the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend, this Nike Basketball PE is part of the “Black Label” collection, but unlike the others, it isn’t intended for public purchase. The shoe comes in exclusive all-black packaging and features a black colorway with off-white Swoosh outlines, a pink Wilson logo on the tongue, and iridescent accents at the midsole frame. A “Black Label” tag is visible on the left shoe, while the right one bears the special “A’One of 1” marking beneath its lateral Swoosh. Completing this premium design are black ribbon laces and branding spread evenly across the lining.

From the “A’One of 1” label on the shoe, it seems that the “Black Label” version of the Nike A’One might never become available in stores. But keep an eye out for news about the upcoming signature shoe, which is scheduled to launch this May through Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $110 USD.
