De Bethune Dedicates the DW5 Al-Amal for Dubai’s Museum of the Future

De Bethune has unveiled a one-of-a-kind Dream Watch 5 to celebrate the launch of “Mavericks of Time,” an innovative exhibition organized by Ahmed Sediqqi & Sons, which recently opened at Dubai’s Museum of the Future (MOTF).

The “DW5 Al-Amal” watch shares the typical dimensions and characteristics of the Dream Watch 5, yet boasts a unique style. It’s adorned extensively with intricate engravings that express various forms of love in beautiful Arabic calligraphy patterns throughout its case.

These motifs appear all over the mirror-polished titanium watch case, which comes in its signature statement dimensions: 48mm in width, 48mm in length and a case thickness of 16mm. The jumping-hour aperture appears at the  3 o’clock position, providing readings via the analog minutes indicator on a dragging rotating disc.

The DB2144V2 movement, which beats an impressive 28,800 times per hour, is hidden inside this watch. This mechanism offers a power reserve of up to 5 days, guaranteed by its self-adjusting double barrel system.

To add the perfect final touch, this unique watch comes with a sleek black alligator strap and a polished titanium clasp buckle, giving it an exquisite shine.
