Dead by Daylight’s Latest Killer Is a Tokyo Ghoul Crossover You Can’t Miss

Dead by Daylight has partnered with Tokyo Ghoul for one of its most intense crossovers to date.

After several months filled with mysterious hints within the game and numerous fan speculations, Ken Kaneki has emerged from the obscurity of the Fog. However, the character that fans remember from Anteiku is noticeably different now.

In this revised form, it’s harsher, more wild, and entirely dominated by the savage impulses that once terrified him.

In the game, Kaneki assumes the role of a ghoul, pursuing survivors who possess abilities from Tokyo Ghoul. He employs tentacle leaps for swift maneuvers and maintains quick control over the map. The essence of speed and ferocity characterizes Kaneki’s killer form in this context.

His unique maneuver, known as Kagune Leap, allows him to shoot out tendrils that propel him towards various objects and companions, the Survivors. By jumping from one to another, his movements become increasingly difficult to follow.

If you execute your second jump as a Survivor, you’ll inflict Deep Wounds and a Kagune Mark on them, triggering Enraged Mode. In this state, the Ghoul is capable of chaining together three uninterrupted jumps, with quicker vaults and intense momentum, causing significant damage.

In an effort to delay them, his three abilities make sure survivors cannot escape unscathed. The initial look of Kaneki reveals the depth of his descent.

Entitled “The Monster Unleashed,” this attire reflects the character’s experience during Jason’s merciless torment, culminating in the once compassionate student embracing the evil lurking within.

To learn more about Kaneki’s background, acquire the Legendary Outfit of Rize Kamishiro. In this adaptation, instead of Kaneki, you’ll get to play as Rize, the Binge Eater, featuring unique character animations, sounds, and visual effects tailored specifically for her.

Paying homage to the woman who’s been instrumental in shaping this world – a personal reflection on Kaneki’s intricate journey. If you’re a fan of Tokyo Ghoul, don’t miss out on the cool masks inspired by characters such as myself (Jonah Vasquez), Jake Park, and David King!

They might not be full outfits, but Survivors can still represent the crossover however they like.

Previously, Dead by Daylight has teamed up with several well-known entities, however, the collaboration with Tokyo Ghoul marks its debut into the world of anime.

His growing power seems to reflect a decline in his mental state, and the destructive weapons he possesses make him an exceptionally thematic and tactically astute character in contemporary settings.
